About the Owner

A graduate of the conservation program of the Institute of Archaeology, University College, London, Eva Sander-Conwell subsequently received an Advanced Certificate from the Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, Harvard University Art Museums. She has worked at different museums, on international excavations, and led the objects conservation lab at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, Germany. After working for 20 years as an independent conservator in Chattanooga, TN, Eva relocated her business to Brunswick, ME, in 2021.

Eva has extensive experience working with historic objects and archaeological materials. Additionally she has developed expertise in treating contemporary art objects as well as outdoor sculpture, and she has advised artists and fabricators and other stakeholders seeking to improve the long-term stability of art works.
